Bugsink is an error-tracking product from Bugsink B.V. in Utrecht, the Netherlands. It is built primarily as self-hosted software you can run with Docker, with an optional hosted EU SaaS. Events are ingested through Sentry-compatible open-source SDKs: point existing clients at a Bugsink DSN and keep the same SDK ecosystem.
It exists for teams that want stacktrace debugging without adopting a heavyweight observability suite. The product focuses on full stack traces, code context, automatic issue grouping, and alerts. It does not claim to be a full APM platform.
The concrete differentiator is that light self-host design: SQLite by default, a single application process, and no mandatory message queue or external cloud dependencies. Source is published under the Polyform Shield license, not an OSI free-for-all.
