OrdoGrid

Belgium· Office Productivity Suite

Needs review

Shortlist OrdoGrid when you need Belgian Peppol send/receive plus quotes and customers in one browser product, especially if unlimited Peppol inbox on a free tier matters. Skip when you need a full accounting ledger, multi-country e-invoicing regimes, self-hosting, or a direct contract with a Peppol access-point operator. Consider DELKARO HANDWERK for German craft workflows or a dedicated Peppol access-point vendor when network control is the purchase filter.

reeqee

Germany· Office Productivity Suite

Needs review

Shortlist reeqee when a DACH team needs German natural-language queries on CSV/XLSX with local row processing and an EU LLM that only receives schema. Skip when you need a full spreadsheet suite, server-side warehouse analytics, independent security audits, or consumer licensing. Consider Microsoft 365 Excel or Google Workspace for authoring, and LibreOffice or Nextcloud for European office/file workflows that are not text-to-SQL.

OrdoGrid

Peppol send, receive and delivery statuses
Prepare UBL invoices aligned with EN 16931, send through a certified Peppol access point, receive supplier invoices in an inbox, and track delivery plus IMR-style acceptance, rejection or dispute responses. Free plan: unlimited receiving and one outgoing Peppol invoice per month.
Quote-to-invoice document chain
Create quotes and invoices with automatic numbering and Belgian legal mentions, convert accepted quotes to invoices, look up VAT via CBE and VIES, and export PDFs. Receipts, credit notes and email sending with read receipts are on paid plans per the public pricing page.
Customers, projects, time and payments (paid)
Customer directory sits beside documents. Business features advertised include Kanban boards, tasks, time tracking, calendar sync (Google, Outlook, Apple ICS), Stripe payment links, bank statement import with payment matching, multi-location branding and team roles.
Public API on Business
Company-scoped API keys with documented OpenAPI for invoicing, Peppol and loyalty integrations. Useful when an accountant tool or custom workflow must create or fetch documents without living only in the UI.
Multilingual Belgian SME UI
Product and marketing surfaces are available in English, French, Dutch and German, with knowledge guides aimed at the Belgian 2026 B2B structured invoicing mandate and Peppol registration steps.

reeqee

German text-to-SQL on CSV and XLSX
Users upload CSV or Excel, ask in everyday German, and receive a generated SQL query plus a result table. Aimed at accountants and SME staff who will not write SQL or complex formulas.
Local DuckDB-WASM execution
Row data is processed in the browser with DuckDB-WASM according to the vendor. Analysis does not require uploading table contents to reeqee servers, which helps with sensitive DATEV or bank exports.
Schema-only Mistral EU calls
The privacy policy states that only the question and column names go to Mistral AI SAS in France for SQL generation and suggested questions. Cell values are excluded from that path.
Multi-file join and export
Paid workflows include linking multiple files or sheets with column matching, then exporting results as Excel or CSV. Plan limits differ between single-file and multi-file tiers.
Offline-style CSV/Excel converter
A separate converter turns files between XLSX, XLS, ODS, and CSV variants entirely in the browser without calling the AI, useful for UTF-8 and delimiter fixes.

Assurance & compliance: OrdoGrid vs reeqee
Assurance & compliance	OrdoGrid	reeqee
Independent security / no-logs audit	Not found No public independent audit report found on official site.	Not found Vendor claims local processing and limited AI payloads; no public third-party audit PDF found.
ISO 27001	Not found No ISO 27001 claim or certificate located on official pages researched.	Not found
SOC 2 / SOC 3	Not found No SOC 2/3 report found on official site.	Not found
GDPR / EU data protection	Vendor claimed Privacy policy commits to GDPR and Belgian data protection law; Belgian DPA complaint link published.	Vendor claimed German sole trader controller; detailed DE privacy policy; Hetzner and Mistral named as processors with Art. 28 language.
US CLOUD Act exposure (indicative)	Partial Belgian contracting entity and Hetzner FI core path, but privacy lists US-group processors (SendGrid, OpenAI, Stripe, Google, Microsoft). Indicative only, not legal advice.	Partial EU sole trader, no known US parent, published processors are EU (Hetzner, Mistral, Mollie). Residual risk from possible US-operated client CDN (jsdelivr in CSP) and unpublished backup/DR. Indicative only, not legal advice.
Data processing agreement (B2B)	Not found No public DPA download found; confirm under contract.	Vendor claimed AGB §10 state parties conclude an Art. 28 DPA when the provider processes personal data on the customer's behalf. Confirm execution in procurement.
EU AI Act	Partial Not an AI-first product, but privacy discloses OpenAI processing of PDF invoices for data extraction. Confirm role under AI Act with vendor if relevant.	Not found Product is AI-assisted (Mistral text-to-SQL). No public AI Act classification or conformity statement found on the site.

Considerations & known limitations: OrdoGrid vs reeqee
Considerations & known limitations	OrdoGrid	reeqee
No published BCE / legal-form imprint	Medium Terms and privacy identify OrdoGrid under Belgian law, and RDAP shows BE registrant country, but the public site does not show an enterprise number or SRL/BV line. Procurement teams may need registry confirmation before contracting.	Non indicato
US SaaS subprocessors on email, AI OCR and payments	Medium SendGrid, OpenAI, Stripe and Google appear in the privacy processor table. Orgs with strict no-US-processor policies need a written exception or alternative tooling for those paths.	Non indicato
No public security certification pack	Medium ISO 27001, SOC 2 and independent audit artefacts were not found publicly. Security questionnaires will need vendor follow-up.	Medium Local-processing and schema-only AI claims are first-party. No ISO 27001, SOC 2, or public security audit was found. High-assurance buyers will need contractual evidence and technical due diligence.
Peppol via third-party access point	Low Network reach depends on the certified access point OrdoGrid uses. Switching access points or troubleshooting delivery may involve that provider as well as OrdoGrid support.	Non indicato
Not a full accounting suite	Low Document and Peppol workflows are the centre. Buyers needing statutory ledgers still need an accountant tool or ERP alongside OrdoGrid.	Non indicato
AI SQL can be wrong	Non indicato	High AGB disclaim correctness of generated SQL and results. Customers must validate before tax, accounting, or business decisions. Practical impact: treat outputs as assistive, keep human review of the shown SQL.
Questions and SQL are logged	Non indicato	Medium Privacy policy stores question text, generated SQL, success flag, and timestamp. Even if row data stays local, question text may itself be sensitive. Object via hello@reeqee.de per the policy.
Sole-trader operator scale	Non indicato	Medium Legal entity is a Berlin sole trader, not a GmbH with published certs or status page. Fine for many SME tools; weaker for enterprises that need vendor risk tiers, SLA percentages, or succession guarantees.
Renewal wording inconsistency	Non indicato	Low Pricing page text and AGB renewal clauses have differed on automatic extension. Confirm the signed terms before budgeting renewals.

Idoneità

OrdoGrid

Best fit when

Belgian freelancers and SMEs exchanging Peppol invoices for in-scope domestic B2B work
Teams that want quotes, invoices and customer records in the same browser workspace as Peppol statuses
Buyers who need unlimited Peppol receiving with only occasional outgoing send on a free plan
Organisations that may later add projects, time tracking, bank import, Stripe links or API access on paid plans
Users who need the product UI in English, French, Dutch or German

Poor fit when

Companies that must contract a Peppol certified access point operator directly rather than via a SaaS intermediary
Teams needing full statutory bookkeeping, multi-entity consolidation or non-Belgian e-invoicing regimes as the core product
Buyers requiring published ISO 27001/SOC 2 or an on-site DPA download before first contact
Organisations that refuse US-group subprocessors for email, payments, analytics or AI document extraction
Self-host or open-source mandate environments

Consider instead when

When: You need German craft-business job, quote and invoice workflows with a field app rather than Belgian Peppol
Consider: DELKARO HANDWERK
Different country focus and no Peppol-first positioning in the catalog entry.
When: You want a French-hosted general office suite (files, email, docs) without Peppol invoicing
Consider: ArkiaSuite
Office productivity peer, not an e-invoicing network product.
When: You need a broad productivity suite already used company-wide and will bolt Peppol on elsewhere
Consider: Microsoft 365 or a dedicated Peppol access-point provider
Suite covers docs/email; Peppol still needs a network path.

reeqee

Best fit when

German-speaking accounting, tax, controlling, or SME operators querying CSV/XLSX exports without SQL skills
Teams that want row data to stay in the browser and only send schema plus questions to an EU LLM
Buyers who need a narrow analysis tool beside Excel/DATEV exports rather than a full office suite
Organisations that prefer German-law B2B contracting with Berlin-based sole-trader operation and Hetzner DE hosting

Poor fit when

Teams that need collaborative spreadsheet authoring, macros, or a full Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace replacement
Workloads that require server-side data warehouses, scheduled pipelines, or multi-tenant governed datasets
Buyers that require ISO 27001, SOC 2, or an independent no-logs/security audit before shortlisting
Consumer or personal use cases (AGB limit the offer to entrepreneurs and public-law entities)

Consider instead when

When: You need a full European spreadsheet client for creating and editing workbooks offline
Consider: LibreOffice
LibreOffice is an office suite, not a text-to-SQL assistant.
When: You need EU file sync, sharing, and office collaboration rather than ad hoc CSV questioning
Consider: Nextcloud
Complementary stack: store in Nextcloud, analyse exports in reeqee if the AI path fits.
When: Analysts already live in Excel/Sheets and only need formulas, Power Query, or pivot tables
Consider: Microsoft 365 Excel or Google Workspace Sheets
Stay in the incumbent suite if natural-language German querying is not the bottleneck.

Open questions for due diligence

OrdoGrid

What is the registered Belgian legal name and BCE/KBO enterprise number for the contracting entity?
Which Peppol certified access point provider is used, and can that chain be named in the DPA?
Will OrdoGrid sign a B2B DPA and provide a current subprocessor list under contract?
Is OpenAI processing of invoice PDFs optional, and can it be disabled for a tenant?
Are backups and database storage also on Hetzner EU regions, or on another cloud?

reeqee

Will the vendor sign a customer DPA and provide a complete subprocessor list including backup/DR?
Is there an independent review of the browser build proving row data never leaves the client?
Which exact Mistral model/endpoint is used, and how are prompt logs retained on Mistral's side?
Which renewal and cancellation terms govern paid plans when pricing page and AGB wording diverge?
Are there documented row/size limits for DuckDB-WASM on typical office laptops?
